It's sort of a crime/mystery/thriller show, but funny and lighthearted at times..set in small town northern USA near the Canadian border somewhere in the western wilderness.. A quiet logging town suddenly dealing with murders and crazy shenanigans. Some supernatural/mystical aspects and lots of interesting characters. I say give it a shot, watch at least 3 episodes before you decide to keep watching or not, starting with the pilot.
Oh it's a fairly old show too, early or mid '90s, but it doesn't really feel too dated. It has great atmosphere
